As we shared earlier, we worked hard to reschedule graduation rather than canceling it. If it is safe to have large gatherings by then, Park Hill South high school will hold graduation on July 26th at Municipal Auditorium, 301 W 13th St, Kansas City, MO 64105 at 1:00 p.m.
•The doors at Municipal will open to family and friends at 12:00 p.m.  Carpooling is recommended. There are special seating areas available for handicapped visitors on first come, first serve basis.
•Tickets or reservations are not required. Graduating seniors will need to be at Municipal on Sunday, July 26th by 11:00 a.m. in cap and gown. Don’t forget your tassel. Graduates will be lined up and recognized in alphabetical order. Honor cords and medals will be distributed at this time.
•Cap and Gown will be worn as issued and not disfigured in any way.  No tape, signs, armbands, rhinestones, etc. Administration will check before ceremony.   Noisemakers or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
•Males should wear dress shirts, dress slacks, and dress shoes.
Females should wear dresses or dress slacks, and dress shoes.
No jeans, tennis shoes or flip flops.
•Students will not be allowed to walk with cameras, purses or cell phones.  Please plan for someone to hold these items for you during the ceremony. We are not responsible for lost items.
•Graduates will receive their diploma after the ceremony if all fines have been paid and all discipline obligations are complete. You will receive notification prior to graduation of any fines or discipline obligations that need to be resolved.  If for some reason you will not be able to participate in the commencement ceremony, please contact Tammy Becker at 816-359-6755 or email Beckerta@parkhill.k12.mo.us at your earliest convenience.
It is possible that, even when the stay-at-home ban lifts, there might still be restrictions on how many people can gather in one place. We will make several levels of contingency plans, just in case this happens. This could include everything from limiting numbers of guests, to using a live video feed, to social distancing, or something in between.

Free Meals for all Park Hill Students

According to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, all students enrolled may receive FREE meals regardless of the ability to pay.  We can assure you, you ARE NOT taking away from other students in need.
Distribution times are from 11-1 Monday through Friday.
If you are in need of student meals, are not accessing meals due to lack of transportation and are interested in delivery, please email Lauren Caldwell: caldwelll@parkhill.k12.mo.us
