Library Media Center

Welcome to the Park Hill South Library Media Center!
The Park Hill South Library Media Center welcomes the opportunity to serve the information needs of the students and staff of Park Hill South High School as an extension of the adopted curriculum. The Media Center program addresses both the academic and recreational interests of our patrons.

Student Passes

Students entering the LMC during class periods unaccompanied by a teacher must have an active pass through eHallpass.  Students who are late start or early release (and don’t have active passes) need to sign in at the circulation desk.  Students who wish to come to the library during tutorial time need to request a pass from Mrs. McKinney or Mrs. Schmidt before 10:30 am each day for same-day travel.

Library Book and Textbook Check Out

Books
Books may be checked out for four weeks and may be renewed for an additional four weeks. Periodicals may only be used in the LMC. Students will receive an email with overdue book reminders and fine notices.

Textbooks
Textbooks are checked out through the library circulation system.  Please note: All textbooks must be returned to the library at the end of the course or students will be charged for the cost of the textbook. 

Printing

There is a print station available in the library for student use.
