A+ Scholarship Program

The primary goal of the A+ Scholarship Program is to ensure that all students who graduate from Missouri high schools are well prepared to pursue advanced education and/or employment. The scholarships are paid for by Missouri taxpayers for Missouri students to attend Missouri post high school opportunities. 

Students that complete A+ are eligible for 2-years tuition* at any MO vocational/technical school or community college.  Many MO 4-year universities offer scholarships based on A+ criteria as well. 

All funding and requirements for the A+ Scholarship Program are contingent upon yearly renewal and appropriations by the Missouri General Assembly.

Fall 2022 A+ Hours Available

  • Tutorial Tutor (PHS Students only) 10:49-11:35am M, T, Th, F in the Media Center beginning January 17.  To sign up click here.
  • Adventure Club: 3:30 – 6:00pm M-F on regular school days.  2 students needed each site to mentor K-5 during after school childcare.  Openings include:
    • English Landing:  All dates open January 31 - March 31.
    • Hawthorn:  All dates open January 31 - March 31.
    • Union Chapel: January 31, February 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, All dates open February 24 - March 31.
    • Line Creek: January 31, February 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 22, 24, 27,  All dates open March 2 - March 31.
    • Southeast:  February 2, 3, 7, 9, 14, 15, 17, all dates open February 21 - March 31
    • Graden: January 31, February 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, all dates open February 21 - March 31.
  • Teacher Assistant at Gerner: 3:30 - 5:30pm M-F on regular school days.  2 students needed to mentor preschoolers. Openings include: 
    • February 1, 2
  • Early Release Adventure Club: 1:30 – 6:00pm.  2 students needed each site to mentor K-5 during after school childcare.  Openings include:
    • English Landing: February 1, March 1
    • Hawthorn: February 1, March 1
    • Union Chapel: March 1
    • Line Creek: February 1, March 1
    • Southeast: March 1
    • Graden: March 1
  • Extended Time Adventure Club: Openings from 6:30am - 6:00pm. 2 students needed each site to mentor K-5 during childcare.  Openings include:
    • English Landing: February 20, March 20, 21
    • Graden: February 20, March 20, 21
    • Hopewell: February 20, March 20, 21
  • PTA Activity Leader
    • Graden: February 7, May 2 5:45 - 7:15pm
    • Line Creek: February 13, April 10, May 8 6:00-7:30pm
    • Union Chapel: February 7, March 14, April 11, 6:30 - 7:30pm
    • Southeast: March 13, May 8, 6:15-8:15pm
  • Beyond the Bell 4:00-5:00
    • English Landing: February 7, 9, 21, 23
