Social Worker

Ms. Lauren Caldwell,, is our Social Worker. Ms. Caldwell helps students and families with resources in- and out- side school. These resources are tailored to the individual needs of our students and families and include, but not limited to:
  • Clothes
  • Food
  • Mental Health resources
  • Housing (McKinney Vento)
  • School Supplies

The Park Hill South Counseling Program is a fully implemented comprehensive school counseling program that is an integral part of a school district's total educational program.  It is developmental by design and includes sequential activities organized and implemented by school counselors with the active support of parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and the community. It supports the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students through the delivery of counseling curriculum, individual student planning, and responsive services. The program is managed and evaluated through system support activities that also support the on-going mission of the school.

Student Groups

Student groups are a healthy and positive way to get students together that would like support in similar areas. These groups are facilitated by a faculty member and meet either during tutorial or after school at 5th Hour.  Take advantage of a student group today.

Academic College Preparatory

Students will learn and practice various study and social-emotional skills to be successful in rigorous coursework. Students will also celebrate their academic and social accomplishments.
