One of the final phases in our Library remodeling is to find the perfect artwork to add the right finishing touches to our new Media Center. We were recently given three possible design options from our architect that we shared with our students and had them vote for their favorite. What resulted was no obvious winner, so we decided to open up our design possibilities to all of our brilliant artistic minds at Park Hill South!

Please give some thought as to what you would like to see on our giant mural wall in the Library, keeping in mind that it is for a Library setting. Then submit it to either Mrs. McLaughlin or Mrs. Kauble in the Library on an 8 x 10 or 11 x 17 piece of paper by the end of the school day, Monday, November 26.

Judging will take place soon after and the person who submits the design chosen will be awarded a Park Hill South Prize Package which will include the following: Your design will be memorialized and framed for display in the school, a Reserved Parking Spot at Park Hill South, Two Prom Tickets, Two Courtwarming Tickets, a Park Hill South Yearbook, a Gift Certificate for Barnes and Noble, a Coffee Shop Party to Congratulate the Winner, etc. Now it’s Your Turn to Make Your Mark on Park Hill South and your Park Hill South Library! If you have any questions, please contact the library for further information. Let the Best Design Win!!

It is extremely important to remember that the North side of our building is for staff parking only. This is the lot that runs East and West, closest to our football field and track. Students are not to drive through the staff lot when arriving or leaving the school. Beginning Monday, November 12th, any students caught driving through the staff lot will have their parking stickers revoked. This is for the safety of our students and staff. An additional reminder that the staff lot is not a drop-off or pick up location for parents and students. Doing so causes unnecessary congestion during the busiest times of our school day. Thank you for your help is resolving this important matter.

PHS Foodies will have their November meeting Wednesday, November 14 at 7:10 am in B201. We will be discussing our November outing. If you have any questions, please contact Profe Anib or Senora Roth.
