Inclusion and Equity Goals

These goals are in line with Park Hill School District’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) and Park Hill South’s Building School Improvement Plan (BSIP).  These goals are centered around our continued inclusion and equity work.

Increase the student sense of belonging to 50% (from 41%) as evidenced in the Panorama survey.  This survey is given twice a year.

  • Increase the percentage of students reporting they feel connected to adults at PHS to 66% (from 34%) as evidenced on the Panorama survey.This survey is given twice a year.
  • Each student will identify at least one trusted adult and one study skills adult on their Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS) survey.This survey is given twice a year.
  • Teachers will say the names of each of their students correctly and meaningfully each day as evidenced through walkthroughs.

 

To build a high trust and low stress environment

  • Increase the percentage of students reporting that teachers would be concerned for them if they walked into their class upset to 75% (from 55%) as evidenced on the Panorama survey.This survey is given twice a year.
  • To increase the percentage of students reporting that teachers take time to make sure they understand the material to 85% (from 66%) as evidenced on the Panorama survey.This survey is given twice a year.
  • To increase the percentage of students reporting that teachers have high expectations for them to 85% (from 66%) as evidenced on the Panorama survey.This survey is given twice a year.
